My name is Emma and I am a qualified psychotherapist and thought coach based in Littlehampton, West Sussex.

    Solution-focused therapy

    My therapy practice involves looking at the problem for a short time and exploring the question – what isn’t working in your life? I then work closely with you to find what is working.

    A type of therapy called “Family constellations” has helped me personally in the past, so I decided to adapt it professionally. It encourages you to take a step away from the problem and look at the whole picture of your life. The larger percentage of time is then spent deciding and moving towards a solution.

    Attachment-based therapy

    I initially trained as an attachment-based psychotherapist. This means that I can help you look at your own attachments in your early life and understand the importance of these relationships and how they affect you now.

    Through sessions with me, you will become a securely attached individual with positive relationships through family, work, hobbies and any other aspects of your life.

    My Attachments and how they’ve helped me

    One of my “go-to” attachments is sport. Being an avid fan of tennis, football, swimming and cycling throughout my life made me realise how your mind plays such a significant role in your performance – whether you’re a hobbyist or professional athlete.

    In school, another attachment I had was Physics. I loved the lessons because they were so practical and it fascinated me learning how the world around us worked. I even taught Physics for 10 years and enjoyed helping children realise that it can be such a simple subject when you relate it to your own personal world.

    The Law of Attraction

    I am a passionate believer in the Law of Attraction. This is the ability to attract into our lives whatever we are currently focused on. We use the power of our minds to translate our thoughts and feelings into reality.

    Using the Law of Attraction, I help encourage my clients to live life to the fullest. It can help us to have a more fun and fulfilling life by remembering that every moment can be a fresh start.
